If you are still having issues then I would follow this document for 'Missing or Failed Printhead' or 'Printhead is Missing, Not Detected, or Not Properly Installed' Mes. I have provided a document for the 'Ink Cartridge Problem,' 'Incompatible Ink Cartridge,' or 'Ink Cartridge Failure' Message Displays o. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) Make sure the printer is connected directly to wall outlet. Wait 10 seconds and reconnect the power cable back to the wall outlet first, then the back of the printer and power it on again. Then disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet. With the printer still turned on, disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer, if the printer has external power module with a detachable power cord disconnect it for 15 seconds and then reconnect it. I would do a power reset to see if that will resolve the issue. I understand you are getting error message 'Cartridge Problem Until cartridges are installed, make sure the printer is turned on to avoid damage to the printer."
